Computer training is available at no charge to workers registered with Personnel Preference who are seeking to enhance their job opportunities. The self-paced computerized program is available in the Personnel Preference office by appointment. The cost for non-registered users is $30 per hour, with a one-half hour minimum time slot.

Training is available on Windows based programs of Access, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word. A typing tutor program is also available to improve keyboard dexterity and typing speed.

A self-guided resume writer is also available to Personnel Preference applicants who are interested in writing a resume to help them with their job search. This program offers multiple resume templates to choose from, as well as the opportunity to create your own, unique resume. For those not registered with Personnel Preference there is a $30 per hour fee.
